Wisdom to Know the Difference

In these times of immense change and challenge, many of us find ourselves in deep turmoil as we decide the best and most appropriate steps WE could or should be taking to help bring light and love to our world.

Those steps can be metaphysical or physical. In fact, they are frequently a combination of both! In all cases, the most important step we can take is to be true to our own Soul’s Path. The Pathway Prayer Process to Access the Heart of the Akashic Records© can be a tremendously valuable method to guide us on our most beneficial and most effective next steps.

I have friends who had planned a carefree European vacation and abruptly changed their itinerary to spend the time volunteering to assist Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Others who are organizing prayer circles to help end the pandemic. Some friends who are fasting and meditating for world peace. While others are picking up trash in rivers and on beaches to help local wildlife. I have friends who are raising funds, supporting, and disseminating information about a wide variety of heartfelt causes and some who provide emotional support to those on the front lines of a variety of harsh situations. The list goes on and on, and all of these actions are beautiful and necessary. Each individual honoring the prompting of their soul, resulting in powerful, decisive actions making the world a better place.

When we feel confident about the steps WE can take to manifest our Soul’s Purposes, we have energy and resources to do so. Even when our Soul’s Purposes call forth rigorous effort, we find ourselves nurtured and sustained by everything we need to do.   When we are taking steps that are NOT true to ourselves, we are blocked energetically and/or physically. In these cases, our best efforts are never sufficient, and we find ourselves demoralized. It’s amazing how that works, but it never fails!

You all know this prayer, but I’d like to repeat it for you in the context of today’s turbulent world: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

Most of us want to do what we can to change the world, heal the world, and bring peace and comfort to all who live here. We want justice and kindness and love. We know that the place to begin is with ourselves as we identify our own Soul’s Path and manifest our own Soul’s Purposes.

No one else can tell you what you SHOULD be doing right now. The most valuable service comes from your heart and soul, and it is perfect.
