Best Practices for an Akashic Records Class

Students must refrain from use of alcohol and recreational drugs 24 hours prior to opening the Records.

During live online class sessions or while listening to recordings, please give yourself the privacy and quiet space you deserve for spiritual work, minimizing distractions and interruptions.

Respect that this class is not a “networking opportunity” for you to promote your own business and so do not solicit other students for business/services during class, which includes exchanging business cards, web links, or any form of marketing.

No practicing any other systems during class; the focus is solely on the Akashic Records at all times. Allow yourself to be a student.

ONLY persons over the age of 18 may take Akashic Records classes or have their Records opened.

Please familiarize yourself with Appropriate Expectations before beginning. 

Helpful Tips for Online Learning

1. Find/Create a Productive Learning Environment

Before you begin, make sure that your computer or device is working properly, check the log-in information and links for the class, explore the platform (zoom and/or Learn It Live) to become more comfortable with your virtual workspace, particularly controls for speaker, microphone, camera, volume, etc. If the class session will be live, double check the start time in your time zone so you are able to participate. Choose somewhere you can work distraction-free for uninterrupted stretches. Do what you need to do to obtain a computer, mouse, internet router, etc. before you begin. If you’re unsure of everything your online course will require, contact the Center for Akashic Studies, or support@learnitlive.com for assistance.

2. Take Your Time

Spiritual work is a journey to savor. You will benefit most from the class if you take all the time you need to fully complete all exercises and repeat any sections that are not easily understood. The classes are designed as a pathway, and every section builds upon the material that was previously presented. There is no benefit to skipping sections or rushing through the material to race toward your Certification, so take all the time you need with each session.

3. Trust

It is not unusual for students to feel impatient or frustrated that they are not “getting it” or somehow not correctly accessing their Akashic Records. Please be assured that your Records are YOUR RECORDS, and you have every right and ability to access your Records. If you are using the Pathway Prayer as taught, and you are following the protocols, you are opening your Records. With patience and practice, you will gain confidence in the information you are getting. Trust the process. 

4. Ask Questions

5. Resist Temptations that will Distract You!

You are on your computer or device and it’s perfectly normal for your mind to occasionally wander. Some of the material is profound and it’s not always easy to stay present. It’s tempting to grab a snack or check email or text notifications while you are working, but distractions are not helpful as you navigate this profound material. If time management isn’t a strong suit, then be very intentional: sit down and look at your calendar, then block out every part of your day and assign specific times for your Akashic studies.

6. Be Joyful! 

Work in the Akashic Records is deeply meaningful and satisfying. The Pathway Prayer Process to Access the Heart of the Akashic Records(c) gives you access to wisdom that through the ages had been limited to a select few scholars and mystics. Every conscious step of the journey will help you understand the causes and conditions of aspects of your life, and will help you experience every day more fully and more joyfully.

Class Prerequisites

The Core Curriculum of Certification Classes is a progression of skills and practices, and each class builds upon the previous class(es) and are designed to be taken sequentially. All required books are readily available through Amazon and major booksellers as hard copies, and also as Kindle copies and as Audible books read by Dr. Howe. In addition to specific books mentioned for each class, we highly recommend also reading “The Heart of the Akashic Records Revealed” by Dr. Linda Howe for an overview of Dr. Howe’s entire body of work.

Advanced Manifesting Practitioner Certification

To be taken after successful completion of Level II.
