The Revised and Updated “How to Read the Akashic Records” will be published this month (Pre-Order Link), and I find myself reflecting upon the tens of thousands of students I’ve taught since “How to Read the Akashic Records” was first published in 2009, how the work has remained pure and consistent, and how it has grown and evolved.
Here we are in 2026, and it feels like an entirely different lifetime since 2009. In many ways, comparing the original book to the new edition is like comparing a 9-year-old to a 26-year-old!
My Pathway Prayer Process to Access the Heart of the Akashic Records© opens the infinite resource of the Akashic Records to regular people like you and me. No longer limited to scholars and saints, this work comes with tremendous potential for understanding our past, present, and future in the light of the Akashic Records.
Of course, this reliable and dependable method of accessing the Records brings its own set of questions and contemporary challenges:
- What is the role of the Akasha in empowering students to live their best life?
- How do the Records interface with a vast international and multicultural system of widely divergent beliefs, expectations, and traditions?
To build a solid foundation to work in the Records, I’ve added a Glossary to help explain key terms, as well as a section of Frequently Asked Questions to address questions I hear students ask time and time again. Throughout the text of the book, I’ve updated all of the exercises with a focus on providing the greatest level of clarity as well as my own ever-expanding sense of wonder at the wisdom and grace of the Records.
While the essence of accessing the Akashic Records using the Pathway Prayer Process© remains consistent, I have learned many new insights in the Records since 2009.
Three areas in particular that needed a more expansive explanation are Karma, Human Identity, and Reasonable Expectations. As a little taste of the new book, here are some concepts we are exploring:
Understanding Karma – and finding freedom from it. This is one of the most common difficulties people face as they sojourn through life, and it’s a common difficulty people have when trying to understand the patterns they see in the Records. It’s a wonderfully predictive system, until we begin to judge or have negative opinions about the cause, effect, or people involved.
Human Identity – Many people want to consult their Akashic Records to see if they’ve been another kind of life form in a past life, or to clear themselves of various entities, or to find out if they have interacted with other galaxies. We discuss these kinds of topics and explore what is available in the Records and what information is simply not contained in the Records. The Akashic Records have no comment on many concerns that we humans bring to the conversation, like “Where am I from?” “What is my Soul’s name?” “What’s my Soul song?” etc., but plenty of insight into the causes and conditions of our current and our recurring circumstances.
Reasonable Expectations – As I’ve traveled the world meeting students of every background, race, and religion, I have learned that the Records can be very helpful imparting wisdom and understanding about the issues that matter most, the problems humans encounter, and possible solutions to our difficulties. You may come to the Records with massive natural talent, or you may not. All that’s needed is a sincere desire to know your Soul more than before and a willingness to learn. Set aside your expectations or ideas of how anything should be and settle in for a wonderful Akashic Adventure.
