I’m sure that many of you, like me, are intently watching the progress of the 19 Buddhist monks and their beautiful dog Aloka, who are currently on a 2,300-mile “Walk for Peace” across the United States to raise awareness of peace, loving-kindness, and compassion. The journey, which began in Fort Worth, Texas on October 26, 2025, is expected to end in Washington, D.C. later this month.

The walk is a non-political spiritual pilgrimage intended as a “prayer in motion” to promote healing and unity. The monks say that their aim is to inspire people to practice peace in their daily lives, emphasizing that everyone can contribute to making the world a better place through compassion and non-violence.

Through the impeccable timing of their Walk for Peace, the monks’ silent witness of steadfast persistence embodies the wisdom of “one step at a time” in an era in which people around the world are experiencing an unprecedented level of anxiety and doubt.

The concept of Buddha, particularly as it relates to the Akashic Records, emphasizes the journey of the soul and the pursuit of enlightenment. Buddha is known for his teachings on the nature of suffering, the path to enlightenment, and the interconnectedness of all beings.

Buddhist insights into karma, the law of cause and effect, resonate deeply within the Akashic framework, where actions and their consequences are viewed through a lens of compassion rather than judgment. This understanding allows us to learn from our experiences and evolve spiritually.

In the Akashic perspective, every soul is on a journey to experience and express love while navigating the complexities of human existence. We are all encouraged to recognize our own divine essence and the importance of compassion, acceptance, and understanding in our lives and relationships. The Akashic Absolutes are Judge Not, Resist Not, Fear Not.

Our spiritual evolution reflects humanity’s growing awareness and accessibility to spiritual resources such as the Akashic Records, allowing more people to engage with their inner wisdom and the collective consciousness.

As I watch the progress of the monks, I am deeply moved by the crowds of people who are drawn to their journey. Whether the monks are walking amid police escorts and media attention, or being met on the road by children handing them flowers or new outfits for Aloka, or simply walking in solitude, they continue to move forward one step at a time. They keep their pace and stay in the moment, emphasizing a mindful and gradual approach to life, particularly as it applies to personal growth, patience, and spiritual exploration.

The act of walking together symbolizes companionship and shared journeys, especially in the context of spiritual exploration like accessing the Akashic Records. Walking together allows us to engage with a community of like-minded individuals who are sharing experiences and providing encouragement. Whether we engage virtually or in person, our soul’s journey is enriched by interaction with others.

As we together navigate the twists and turns of our lives during this significant time in human history, by taking it one day and one step at a time, we are able to foster a deeper connection with the Akashic Records and our own spiritual path, allowing for gradual and meaningful growth.

Without a doubt, the journey is often uncomfortable. Obstacles and injuries along the way are inevitable. Reroutes and changes of plans can be a necessity. Sometimes the most difficult part of our journey is finding a way to remain joyful, full of wonder, and determined to keep moving forward. And of course, a sense of humor helps a lot!

We are on a sacred journey, all of us together, to help bring the wisdom and compassion of the Akashic Records to create a world that is more accepting, more loving, more just, and more optimistic. I am so joyful to be with you on this journey and I am cherishing each and every step of the way!
